Adult Education offers FREE classes to help adult students become college and career ready! These include:
- Transition English and Math classes (BSP 4002 and BSP 4003) to meet pre-requisites for college level classes.
- Transition Digital Skills teaches essential technology skills and knowledge needed for employment and post-secondary training/degree programs.
- ESOL Career Pathways classes to help you prepare for specific careers such as our Furniture Sewing, Furniture Upholstery, Apartment Maintenance, and Construction, ESOL courses.
- Basic Skills Plus, which allows students working towards an Adult High School or High School Equivalency diploma to take selected workforce training classes free of charge. - POWER Pathways, is a specific career training program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities that leads to meaningful career or volunteer opportunities. GTCC currently offers Food Service and Customer Service pathways.
Courses are open to adults in the community who are 18 or older. Sixteen- and 17-year-olds must complete a minor release form or show proof of high school graduation before entering our program.
