Office of Marketing & Communications
The Marketing & Communications office is charged with providing honest, timely and useful information about college activities, educational and intellectual programs, services and initiatives to all internal and external stakeholders and constituents. The department is responsible for:
- Writing news and publicity releases.
- Serving as media contact in non-emergency situations.
- Responding to media inquiries.
- Acting as media liaison whenever news media are on college grounds.
- Serving as the lead photographer/reporter for college events.
- Helping maintain the college’s main social media sites (Facebook, Twitter).
- Marketing and Special Events, including event promotion, communication, strategy development, publications, brand imaging, and other services to all areas of the college and its administration.
- Marketing & Communications and the GTCC Foundation engage with the College and the larger philanthropic and business community to raise awareness of our mission and support major fundraising and college growth in the future.
