On successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course at GTCC (NA I, or NA I Refresher), you must pass the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry exam in order to be listed on the Nurse Aide I Registry. Registry listing is a requirement in North Carolina to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  GTCC is a designated in-facility testing center for the Nurse Aide Registry Exam. Testing at GTCC allows you as a student to test in an environment with equipment you are familiar with working around. Students can schedule both the written and the skills exam by setting up an account with Credentia. Please visit credentia.com to start that process. GTCC faculty and staff are not able to assist students with setting up their Credentia accounts.

Remember the Open Labs are available for you, even after you graduate, to return to GTCC and practice your skills prior to your test date. There is an Instructor available to assist you during every Open Lab date. For a schedule of Open Lab dates, times and locations, click on the NA OPEN LAB SCHEDULE (See below FAQ).
