Established in Jamestown in 1958, the main campus at Guilford Technical Community College covers 257 acres and currently serves around 7,000 students daily. This campus is home to a wide array of career technical programs ranging from Culinary and Hospitality Management to Computer Technology to Health Science programs. In fall of 2018, the campus opened the state-of-the-art Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) that will house the college’s machining, welding and transportation related programs. Jamestown also offers a robust transfer program for students interested in obtaining a baccalaureate degree in a variety of fields.

The Jamestown campus is the home of GTCC’s Public Safety Training Center, where the college provides high quality pre-service and in-service training to all branches of public safety professionals.

The campus also houses the Middle College at Jamestown, a collaboration with Guilford County Schools to allow high school students to accelerate their progress towards a two-year degree.

Campus Under Construction

GTCC Jamestown Construction Zone MapWork on Medlin Campus Center, GTCC's main administration building, is underway. Work on the 125,000 square-foot facility will take 18 to 20 months to complete. There is a construction zone around the building from Montgomery Circle going behind Davis Hall, the Percy Sears Applied Technologies Building, and next to the Learning Resource Center (library).

There is a walking path from the parking area off Bonner Drive around the bookstore/student lounge (housed in Machinery Hall) through the parking lot adjacent to the Applied Technologies building.

An ADA accessible path goes from the Applied Technologies building past the fountain, turns right and runs between Davis Hall and James Williams Hall, around Montgomery Circle and through campus past Medlin and around the library, just past Machinery Hall.
