Students develop an appreciation for the aspects of human culture which helps us understand human values through the creative arts, humanities and sciences.

Students are encouraged to develop their own professional portfolio with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed for competitive employment or acceptance into a four-year university.

Work to make a difference in the civic life of one's community and develop the motivation to make that difference. We're all Titans at GTCC! Through engaging in the spirit and purpose of our community, we work to be strong, powerful forces that help shape us as Titans.

The many dimensions of wellness encompass physical, sexual, emotional, and spiritual attributes; as well as healthy social relationships, and financial aspects of the whole self. A healthy outlook on life will help students reach peak performance at school, at home, and in their community.

An institution is only as good as its ability to promote cultural awareness. A GTCC student who is culturally engaged is one that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion in their educational and community environments.

A global citizen is one who investigates the world beyond our borders, recognizes own and others' cultural's, communicates effectively to diverse audiences and translates ideas into action to improve the world.

Students who participate in leadership opportunities will develop skills and knowledge to act as leaders in the future. Being an active leader is based on the understanding that leadership is a life-long journey developed by our experiences and engagement in GTCC's community.
