Limited Entry Programs
Welcome to GTCC and the Limited Entry Office! We are here to help you navigate the processes related to selecting and applying to a Limited Entry program.
Limited Entry Programs have a formal application process and limited seating. That is, the program accepts a specific and limited number of learners each selection cycle and you must apply to receive consideration for entry. Each program has different requirements that must be met before you can apply. A Limited Entry Advisor can help you determine which program is best suited for your skills and interest and they can then guide you through the pre-application process.
Please note that although you may be admitted to GTCC, you are not automatically admitted to your program of interest. There are specific additional deadlines you must meet to be eligible for application. Once they are met, you may submit a program application by the specified application deadline date. Please note that some programs are very competitive and meeting the minimum program admission requirements does not guarantee you a space in the program.

If you are wanting to change your major to a limited entry program, you must submit a program application and be accepted. Once your seat has been accepted, your program will be changed. Students preparing for limited entry programs are usually enrolled in Pre-Program pathways allowing for completion of the general coursework for the program.
