Forklift Operator

This forklift operator training is taught by an OSHA compliant Instructor.  Training is 14 hours. It is a comprehensive, hands-on program that covers every aspect of lift truck training.  This training is designed for anyone wishing to learn how to operate a forklift.  Certificate of Completion is given at the end of the course when a student successfully completes the course.

Students MUST purchase book PRIOR to the first day of class.

The book costs approximately $9.50 and is available in the GTCC Campus Store where the class is being held. Visit GTCC Campus Store  for details. The textbook is required to obtain the certificate of completion.

Students who successfully complete the Forklift Operator class will receive an Award of Completion. 

Requirements for Successful Completion:

  • Attendance: Must be in class 100% of class hours

Students will be dropped from the class if they miss the first day and will not be eligible for refund.

The college will make a 100% refund of registration fees if you officially withdraw from class before the first meeting. Also if the class is canceled or full, GTCC will make a full refund. 
The college will refund 75% of the registration fee (of tuition only) if you officially withdraw from the class on the first day of class or before the class reaches the census date. The census date varies from class to class. Non-attendance is not a basis for a refund.
