Personal Trainer Certification Course

Virtual lectures and in-person practical skills labs

WITS fitness logoGet all the information needed to start an exciting, successful career as a Certified Personal Trainer. This course is for candidates who want LIVE instruction with in-depth, hands-on practical labs to master the career skills and knowledge. Our veteran teachers share all the dos and don'ts of working with clients.

The course is 15 hours (five weeks at three hours a week) of in-person lectures on key topics such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, and health assessments. The best part of the course is the 15 hours of hands-on practical training labs at the fitness center. You will role-play with assessing clients, programming, performing proper exercises, presentation skills, and more.

The course includes the national test vouchers ($450 value) and access to the personal trainer course to use to review and study for the national exam at no additional cost.

Practical skills lab sessions (in-person) are held at The Clubs of Oak Branch, 21-A Oak Branch Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 (location is subject to change, and students will be notified if so).
