Access Amazing Scholarship: College can be Free at GTCC
What is the Access Amazing Scholarship?
The Access Amazing Scholarship covers the cost of tuition and fees for many high school graduates in Guilford County.
The scholarship removes cost as a barrier for students graduating from a Guilford County high school and is a "last dollar" scholarship* that pays the remaining balance of student in-state tuition, college fees, and course fees once all other federal and state grants, scholarships, and sponsorships are applied.
Step 2: Complete the FAFSA
We all dislike completing forms. But with the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA), completing it opens doors to a host of aid, locally and nationally.
What's the No. 1 reason to complete the FAFSA?
Most scholarships, grants, and financial aid providers – including colleges – require it!
GTCC's school code is 004838.
Step 3: Apply for Scholarships
Community college is already 75% less expensive than four-year schools. At GTCC, 56% of our students receive aid from grants and/or scholarships. That's money you do not have to pay back! There are numerous financial aid options available to help make your education more affordable. Completing our scholarship qualifies you for nearly all scholarships we offer!
