GTCC Foundation Showcase Reception and Golf Classic scheduled for Oct. 19 and 20 at Grandover

The GTCC Foundation Showcase Reception will take place Monday, Oct. 19, with the GTCC Foundation Golf Classic presented by Blum Construction set for Tuesday, October 20 at the Grandover Resort & Spa East Course in Greensboro.

Supporting the GTCC Foundation helps create more of those opportunities, and that’s something we’re proud to be part of.”

Entry in, or sponsorship of, the tournament supports scholarships and the mission of the GTCC Foundation. Since 2011, tournament proceeds have made it possible to award 544 individual scholarships to GTCC students totaling over $436,000

The GTCC Showcase Reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Grandover will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and networking. GTCC students, faculty and staff will showcase their creative talents and the college’s programs through live art demonstrations, student and club project displays, and various forms of live entertainment.

Entry fee for the captain’s choice format tournament is $1,500 per four-person team and includes four golf shirts, invitations to the showcase reception, breakfast, hole sign, and a lunch awards reception on tournament day.

Various sponsorship levels are still available for the 18-hole tournament, ranging from $500 to $3,500 and offering a variety of benefits and branding opportunities.

Registration for the tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 20, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
