FAME, other GTCC programs continue to be recognized around the world

"They learn through work," a local news reporter said about apprenticeship program students at Guilford Technical Community College.
With FAME and other programs, students can attend classes and earn a paycheck at the same time. It's becoming a big draw for students at GTCC. Plus, with grants and scholarships, many students go to school here at no cost.
News teams from around the world are coming to GTCC to highlight the programs, including a recent group from Switzerland. This was first aired on WGHP Fox 8.
