Former GTCC instructor continued to teach after winning the lottery

The N.C. Powerball drawing on April 8 had the potential to make someone over $1 billion richer. Dwight David Lynch of Greensboro decided he would try his luck ... again. You see, Lynch won $10 million in 1992 and decided to take a yearly payout instead of a lump sum. But even though that gave him $350,000 a year, he didn't immediately give up his teaching position at GTCC. "I wanted to stay grounded, and I loved what I was doing," he said.
