JAMESTOWN, N.C. (Aug. 31, 2023) – Pam Anglin, who has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, was named in June as director of the Guilford Technical Community College Foundation.

Anglin, a native of Western North Carolina, will serve as the foundation's chief fundraiser and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the foundation, strategic direction, and oversight of board of directors.

The GTCC Foundation works to ensure education excellence through fundraising, advocacy, and promoting the awareness of the college's positive impact on the community. In the past decade, the GTCC Foundation has provided more than $7.8 million in funding to enhance student access and success, college programs and employee development.

"Pam brings an extraordinary amount of experience and knowledge to the GTCC Foundation. With her background in comprehensive fundraising campaigns and more, she will be able to continue to grow the reach of the foundation and, as a result, assist more GTCC students and support the region's workforce," said Jan Knox, vice president of college advancement for GTCC. "We are excited what the future holds for the foundation and the college with Pam at the helm."

Most recently Anglin was the chief development officer for the Financial Pathways of the Piedmont where she established a resource development and marketing plan that grew foundation and corporate funding by over 200%. She also launched a community recognition program that honored nonprofits, businesses, and community members with the Financial Health First Responder Award which highlighted the agency and increased individual donations. Since 2019, Anglin has been a senior consultant for Forward Movement Consulting and provided organizational development and philanthropic strategy consulting for clients such as the NC Rural Center and ZoomCares.

"I see my role as sharing the life-changing impact GTCC has on students, highlighting the economic benefit for the greater community, and inviting others to make an investment in this work," Anglin said. "I find great joy in knowing that through this role, I am able to connect donors and supporters with GTCC programs and achievements."

Anglin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University, and a certificate in integrated marketing from Wake Forest University School of Business.
