| On March 14, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm GTCC campus police will be conducting active assailant training in and around the Service Careers building. Airsoft handguns which appear to be real firearms will be utilized. No real firearms will be used in this training exercise. This is only a training exercise. At GTCC, aged Medlin Campus Center to get the 'wow factor'

When Guilford Technical Community College students return from winter break next month, the college’s Jamestown campus will start to look a little different.
The community college will begin work early next year on a top-to-bottom renovation of the Medlin Campus Center, one of the busiest buildings on its main campus. That means a lot of GTCC employees — and a lot of offices that assist students — will be moving elsewhere on campus for a couple of years. Read the story here.
